Weaving machinery for cotton, silk, woolen, worsted and special fabrics
A 1919 trade catalogue from the Crompton & Knowles Loom Works of Worcester, Massachusetts, issued to mill owners and superintendents buying looms for cotton, silk, woolen and worsted weaving. Retouched halftone photographs show each machine in three-quarter view against blank grey ground, giving cast-iron frames, gear trains, cams, shuttle boxes and warp beams as clean silhouettes and cutaway-like detail.
