Wells' auto-electricians' handbook; a reference book of adjustments, tests, repairs and performance of electric lighting and starting equipment on automobiles
A 1922 technical reference by Harry Lorin Wells, published in Chicago by the Automotive Publishing Company for working auto electricians servicing car lighting and starting systems. The plates are white-line wiring diagrams printed as blueprints on blue grounds: zigzag resistance coils, dotted enclosure boundaries, terminal dots, generator and armature circles, and hand-lettered labels like SHUNT and RESISTANCE, usable as ready-made line schematics and blue-ground pattern.
