The microscope; a simple handbook
A short instructional handbook on microscopy written by optician Conrad Beck and published by his family firm R. & J. Beck in London, 1921, for students and amateur microscope users. The engravings show compound microscopes in profile, cutaway optical paths with dotted ray lines and letter keys, condensers, stages and lamp stands — usable as clean technical line art and diagram vocabulary.
