Classroom lecture notes, automotive starting, lighting and ignition, with diagrams
Roy Charles Fryer's 1918 classroom lecture notes on automotive starting, lighting and ignition, published in New York by John Wiley & Sons for trade and engineering students. The 128 plates are line wiring diagrams: coiled field windings, ring armatures with commutator brushes, switch faces with lettered terminals, coils, condensers and batteries, offering flat black-on-white circuit geometry and hand-lettered labels.
