Cubists and Post-impressionism
Arthur Jerome Eddy's survey of Cubism and Post-Impressionism, published by A.C. McClurg in Chicago in 1919 for American collectors and general readers new to European modernism. Plates are coarse halftone reproductions of paintings by Picasso, Braque and their contemporaries, plus a few landscapes: faceted figures, still lifes and near-abstract shapes rendered in grainy grey, useful as texture and fractured geometry.
