Cyclopedia of textile work : a general reference library on cotton, woollen and worsted yarn manufacture, weaving, designing, chemistry and dyeing, finishing, knitting, and allied subjects
A multi-volume technical reference on cotton, woollen and worsted manufacture, weaving, designing, dyeing and knitting, issued in 1907 by the American School of Correspondence in Chicago for students taking home-study courses in mill work. The plates are weave diagrams on squared grids — filled and blank cells, dotted repeats, hatched twill steps — usable as modular pattern units, halftone-free black-and-white tiling, and grid layout stock.
