Design and color in printing
A trade manual on layout and color for printers, written by Frederick James Trezise and issued by The Inland Printer Company in Chicago in 1909 for compositors and job-shop pressmen. The plates include boxed initial letters built from interlaced white strapwork against solid black, with stippled fills, alongside specimen borders and color-printing examples usable as drop caps or panel ornament.
