Electric ignition for gas engines
A 1908 engineering thesis by John Adams Neuman on electric ignition for gas engines, submitted at the University of Illinois and held by its library. The plates are hand-drawn line figures: labeled angle and vector diagrams, a lens-and-flywheel optical setup, decaying spark-current curves stacked as Fig. 6 and 7, and hatched sectional views of insulated conductors, usable as technical ornament or diagram stock.
