Erection and test of the Sayers and Zimmerman steam engine
An engineering thesis submitted at the University of Illinois in 1906 by Francis Guy Moore, recording the erection and testing of a Sayers and Zimmerman steam engine for faculty examiners. The plates are hand-inked mechanical drawings: dimensioned plan and elevation of an engine foundation, a bolt plate detail with section view, dotted plotted test curves, and the examiner's signature in pen.
