Free hand drawing and designing
A 1919 Chicago drawing manual by Max Kushlan, issued by the Branch Publishing Company to teach freehand and mechanical drawing to students and draftsmen. Plates show cubes, cylinders, prisms and pyramids rendered in crayon or soft pencil, with hatched shading and cast shadows on cream paper — usable as texture studies, geometric marks, and light-direction diagrams.
