A monthly horticultural periodical edited by J. C. Loudon and published in London from 1826 for gardeners, nurserymen and estate owners. The plates are small wood-engraved sections, plans and elevations of hothouses, heating flues, glazing bars and garden tools, hatched and dotted in line, with inch-and-foot scale bars, ready use as technical diagram motifs.
