Parish churches; being perspective views of English ecclesiastical structures: accompanied by plans drawn to a uniform scale, and letter-press descriptions
A two-volume survey of English parish churches by architect brothers Raphael and Joshua Arthur Brandon, published in London by David Bogue in 1851 for architects, builders and church restorers. The plates are line engravings of single churches seen from a low three-quarter angle, with towers, spires, buttresses and traceried windows drawn in fine outline against blank sky, paired with measured ground plans; useful for architectural silhouettes, window tracery patterns and plan diagrams.
