Dictionnaire raisonné de l'architecture française du XIe au XVIe siècle
Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc's multi-volume dictionary of French architecture from the 11th to 16th centuries, published by A. Morel in Paris in 1875 for architects, restorers and antiquarians. The plates are measured line engravings of doorways, vaults, rib bosses, capitals and wall sections, often with sectional cutaways, ashlar coursing drawn block by block and small scale figures; useful for precise Gothic and Romanesque ornament, structural diagrams and stonework textures.
