Renaissance and modern art
A survey of Renaissance and later European art written by William Henry Goodyear, Brooklyn Museum curator, and published in 1908 in Detroit for the Bay View Reading Club, a home-study course for adult readers. The 202 halftone plates reproduce photographs of buildings, facade details and sculpture in coarse grey screen, offering pilaster and window elevations, carved ornament panels, and draped standing figures that can be cut out as silhouettes.
