Shaw's Civil architecture; being a complete theoretical and practical system of building, containing the fundamental principles of the art
A builder's manual of civil architecture by Edward Shaw, issued in Boston by J. P. Jewett in 1852 for carpenters, masons and architectural students. The plates are fine-line engraved geometry: lettered construction diagrams, half-plan arcs projecting column flutes, moulding profiles and cornice sections, all labelled Fig. 1 through 6 — usable as line diagrams, technical ornament, and thin-rule pattern.
