Studio international
Studio International, the London art magazine begun in 1893 and published by Cory, Adams & Mackay for painters, designers, craftworkers and collectors of contemporary art and decoration. The plates are coarse-screen halftone reproductions of paintings — tree-lined landscapes, terrace and garden scenes, lamplit figure groups — with soft grey tonal ranges and occasional printed borders useful as texture, backdrop or period atmosphere.
