Studio international
An illustrated art periodical begun in London in 1893 and issued for artists, designers, collectors and craft workers, reproducing contemporary painting, etching, drawing and applied design. Plates are halftone and line reproductions: tonal landscapes with water and trees, etched street views of gabled houses, and figure groups in classical drapery, useful for soft grey washes, sparse etched linework and period layout borders.
