Swingle's catechism of steam, gas, and electric engineering ... a complete book of reference for the working engineer in the daily round of his duties
A question-and-answer technical handbook by Calvin F. Swingle, published in Chicago by F. J. Drake in 1922 for working steam, gas, and electric engineers on the job. The line engravings show armature coils, slotted rotor cores, bent wire windings and bundled conductors in cross-section, drawn with dense hatching and numbered leads — usable as diagrammatic loops, grids and shaded fills.
