Technology of textile design. Being a practical treatise on the construction and application of weaves for all textile fabrics, with minute reference to the latest inventions for weaving
A technical manual on weave construction by Emanuel Anthony Posselt, published by the author in Philadelphia in 1888 for mill designers, loom operators and textile students. The plates are numbered line figures: grid-based point-paper drafts in solid black and white squares, cross-sectioned diagrams of interlacing warp and weft threads with hatched yarn ends, and harness and cording plans, usable as modular checkerboard patterns, dense hatch textures and technical diagram motifs.
