Villas of Florence and Tuscany
An architectural survey of Tuscan country houses by Harold Donaldson Eberlein, published in Philadelphia and London by Lippincott in 1922 for architects, builders and cultivated travellers. The 307 plates are halftone photographs of villa facades, arcaded loggias, walled gardens and terraces, plus measured plans and elevations, giving designers stucco wall textures, window rhythms, and clipped-hedge garden geometry.
