A trade catalogue issued in 1896 by the Whitin Machine Works of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, printed at East Douglas and sent to mill owners and buyers of cotton spinning and weaving equipment. The plates are engraved three-quarter views of cards, drawing frames, spinning frames, twisters and looms, each machine isolated on plank flooring with belts, gears, pulleys and cast iron frames rendered in fine hatching, useful for industrial silhouettes, mechanical detail and period technical lettering.
