An introductory primer on electricity written by William H. Meadowcroft, an associate of Edison, and published by Harper & Brothers in New York and London in 1915 for general readers and beginners. The line engravings show coils, magnets, batteries, telegraph keys and glass apparatus in plain outline with hatched shading and letter labels, useful as clean technical diagrams and instrument silhouettes.
