Architect and engineer
A monthly trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905 for West Coast architects, engineers, and contractors, mixing project reports and technical articles with photographic surveys of new Pacific Coast building. Illustrations are halftone photographs of exteriors, entrances, and interiors, from classical doorways with fluted columns and bracketed balconies to flat-roofed stucco schools and shops, giving designers grey-toned architectural stock, cast-shadow geometry, and period street views.
