The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal for architects, engineers and builders on the Pacific Coast, published in San Francisco from 1905 and circulated among West Coast design professionals and contractors. Halftone photographs show completed buildings in full elevation — hospitals, high schools, academic halls and commercial blocks — set back on lawns and streets with period automobiles, plus captions in small capitals naming architect and location, useful for early twentieth-century American building stock and street furniture.
