Architect and engineer
Architect and Engineer was a monthly trade journal issued in San Francisco from 1905 for West Coast architects, engineers and builders, carrying project reports, plans and photographic surveys of new California work. The plates are halftone photographs of houses, gardens and civic buildings in flat grey tones, often captioned with architect credits and set in ruled frames, useful for period lettering, plan diagrams and soft-focus architectural backdrops.
