The builders' guide and pocket companion
A pocket handbook of roof framing and carpentry rules written by Isaac Perry Hicks and published in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1890 for working builders and carpenters. Line diagrams show lettered triangles with labeled rafters, run and rise lines, plus small woodgrain sketches of valley rafters with dashed cut lines, useful as geometric schematics and technical lettering.
