The cathedrals of Great Britain, their history and architecture
A 1902 guide to British cathedrals by the antiquarian clergyman P. H. Ditchfield, published in London and Philadelphia by Dent and Lippincott for travellers and church-architecture enthusiasts. The 93 pen-and-ink drawings give exterior views across churchyards and interior perspectives down aisles and under arches, built from open hatching and left-white stone, useful for line-based architectural motifs, arcades and vaulting details.
