Airplane characteristics; a systematic introduction for flyer and student and for all who are interested in aviation
A 1918 aeronautics primer by Cornell physicist Frederick Bedell, published in Ithaca, New York, for pilots, students, and general readers during the First World War. The plates are line diagrams: streamlines curling into eddies behind cylinders and inclined wing sections, plus labeled performance curves with dotted and dashed lines, usable as flow-pattern motifs, arrow textures, and technical chart ornament.
