A multi-volume technical reference on cotton, woollen and worsted manufacture, weaving, dyeing, finishing and knitting, issued in 1907 by the American School of Correspondence in Chicago for correspondence students and mill hands. The plates are halftone and line views of mill machinery, showing carding engines, belt-driven pulleys, gear trains, rollers and cast-iron frames against blank grounds, useful for spoked wheels, drive-belt geometry and machine silhouettes.
