Elementary woodworking
A manual-training textbook on woodworking by Edwin W. Foster, published by Ginn and Company in Boston in 1903 for school shop classes and their teachers. The plates are pen-and-ink line drawings: single leaves and leafy twigs identifying timber trees, drawn in clean outline with short hatching along the veins, alongside diagrams of tools, joints and grain, all usable as isolated silhouettes or spot illustrations.
