Leaf springs, their characteristics and methods of specification; a hand-book of useful information relating to automobile leaf springs, their manufacture, methods of specification, details and characteristics
A 1912 technical handbook on automobile leaf springs, edited by David Landau for the Sheldon Axle Company's spring engineering department in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and addressed to car makers and purchasing engineers. Line diagrams show cambered spring leaves with dimension arrows, eye ends and hatched mounting blocks, alongside shaded halftones of clipped leaf stacks — useful for engineering line work and measured-drawing motifs.
