Theory of turbines
An engineering treatise on turbine design by De Volson Wood, published by John Wiley & Sons in New York in 1895 for students and practicing mechanical engineers. The plates are line diagrams of vane curves, velocity triangles and radii, drawn with thin ink strokes and italic letter labels on tinted paper, useful as geometric marks, arrow-and-vector motifs, or annotated curve fragments.
