Flying, the why and wherefore
A 1909 explanatory handbook on early aeroplanes by C. G. Grey, editor of The Aero, published in London for general readers following the first years of powered flight. The plates are line-drawn side and three-quarter views of monoplanes and biplanes with numbered callouts marking wings, struts, propellers, skids and wheels, useful as hatched diagram silhouettes and labelled technical schematics.
