Architect and engineer
A monthly architectural trade journal published in San Francisco from 1905 for West Coast architects, engineers, and contractors. The plates are halftone photographs of finished buildings — stepped Art Deco entrance pylons, plate-glass shopfronts with painted lettering, stucco and brick commercial blocks and houses — usable as period facade reference, window and door proportions, and grainy black-and-white street textures.
