The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal for architects, engineers and builders published by the Architect and Engineer Co. in San Francisco from 1905, carrying illustrated project reports on work along the Pacific Coast. The plates are coarse-screen halftone photographs of hotels, office blocks, bungalows and churches, shot from the street with engraved architect credits set along the plate edge, useful for period facade detail, cornice and window-grid patterns, and empty early-1900s streetscapes.
