A manual-training textbook on wood-turning by William Walter Klenke, published by the Manual Arts Press in Peoria, Illinois, in 1921 for school shop teachers and their students. The plates are line diagrams: tool edges meeting spinning stock, arrows for cut direction and hand position, small inset eyes marking the turner's viewpoint, and dimensioned elevations of mallets, spindles and beads measured in fractional inches.
