Determination of magnetic induction in straight bars

1909 · National Bureau of Standards · 21 pictures

A 1909 National Bureau of Standards technical paper on measuring magnetic induction in straight bars, written for physicists and instrument makers working with standardized electrical measurement. The plates are line diagrams printed in black on tan stock: plotted flux curves with small circular data points, coil cross-sections drawn as rows of tiny rings, labelled angles and axes, and a horseshoe-shaped magnet outline.
