Journal - Franklin Institute of the State of Pennsylvania
A long-running technical journal issued by the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia from 1826 onward, carrying papers on physics, metallurgy, meteorology and patents for engineers and industrial researchers. The plates here are hand-lettered line graphs on ruled grids — stacked property curves for binary alloys, freezing-point and conductivity plots, ballistic drag curves with a small projectile inset — useful for grid textures, curve overlays and handwritten axis labelling.
