The Architect & engineer of California and the Pacific Coast
A monthly trade journal issued from San Francisco beginning in 1905 by the Architect and Engineer Co., written for architects, builders, and engineers working along the Pacific Coast. Plates run to pen-and-ink perspective renderings of civic and commercial buildings, halftone photographs of finished houses and grounds, plans, and details of classical facades, offering line work for building elevations, street-level staging with figures and trees, and period masthead and caption lettering.
