Architect and engineer
A California trade monthly for architects, engineers and builders, published in San Francisco from 1905 and carrying project reviews, captioned photographs of recent West Coast buildings, and technical and material advertising. The plates are halftone photographs of houses and civic buildings set in gardens and streets, with credit lines naming client and architectural firm, giving tiled roofs, arcaded porches, stucco walls, Palladian windows, balustrades and lawn foregrounds in soft grey tone.
