A technical drawing manual by the Armengauds and Jules Amouroux, adapted into English by William Johnson and issued in Philadelphia by H. C. Baird in 1866 for machinists, engineers and architectural draughtsmen. Engraved plates show gear teeth, waterwheels, valves and shafting in plan and section, tinted with flat grey, blue and ochre washes, lettered and dimensioned over fine construction lines.
