The practical testing of dynamos and motors
A laboratory manual on testing dynamos and motors, written by Charles Frederick Smith and issued in Manchester in 1905 for electrical engineering students and works testers. The plates are line wiring diagrams: coiled resistance and field windings, circled ammeters and voltmeters, brush-and-armature machine symbols, knife switches and starter arcs, usable as schematic ornament or technical lettering keys.
