Text-book of mechanics
A university engineering textbook on mechanics by Louis Adolphe Martin, published by Wiley in New York in 1906 for students working through thermodynamics and applied mechanics. The fourteen plates are fine-line geometric diagrams: hyperbolic pressure-volume and temperature-entropy curves, dashed projection lines dropped between quadrants, axes lettered p, v, T, s, and one axonometric box showing surfaces in three dimensions, all usable as ready-made technical line ornament.
