Textile design; a working manual of approved practice in all details of the art of designing the various kinds of textile fabrics, together with practical applications of the principles of textile coloring and systematic methods of cost finding
A 1909 correspondence-course manual on textile design, weave construction, coloring and cost finding, issued by the American School of Correspondence in Chicago for mill hands and students training by mail. The plates are point-paper weave diagrams: black squares filling ruled grids, with numbered thread counts and heavier lines marking repeats, usable as ready-made modular pattern and halftone-grid material.
