An 1892 Boston handbook by Luther Henry Porter, issued by the Wheelman Company for riders choosing and maintaining safety bicycles at the close of the high-wheel era. Over two hundred line engravings show whole machines in side view plus isolated forks, spoked wheels, saddles, handlebars and hub mechanisms, drawn in fine black outline on cream stock with stippled ground shadows, useful for silhouette work, technical diagram collage and period transport motifs.
