Woodward's country homes
A pattern book of house designs published by George E. and F. W. Woodward in New York in 1865, sold to builders, farmers, and prospective homeowners choosing a country house. The plates are wood-engraved floor plans with hatched walls, hand-lettered room names and dimensions, stair runs with tread lines, plus exterior elevations and framing details that supply period lettering, line texture, and diagram layouts.
