Financial advertising, for commercial and savings banks, trust, title insurance, and safe deposit companies, investment houses
A 1908 trade manual on financial advertising written by E. St. Elmo Lewis and published by Levey Bros. in Indianapolis for bankers, trust officers, and the men who wrote their copy. The plates reproduce specimen ads, circulars, letterheads, and booklet covers, often photographed in overlapping stacks, alongside halftone portraits and pen-and-ink views of commercial buildings: useful for period display type, ornamental borders, coupon forms, and business-page layout.
