The mechanic's tool book. With practical rules and suggestions for use of machinists, iron-workers and others
A workshop manual by William B. Harrison, published by D. Van Nostrand in New York in 1868 for machinists, iron-workers and other tradesmen working at the bench and lathe. Wood-engraved figures show clamps, jaws, cutters and sectioned fittings in perspective and cross-section, keyed with italic letters and shaded in dense parallel hatching that designers can lift as isolated tool silhouettes.
