A trade reference issued by the Illinois Society of Architects in Chicago from 1898 onward, compiling building codes, materials data and member work for practising architects, builders and contractors. Halftone photographs and rendered perspectives show brick and terra-cotta commercial blocks, apartment towers, ornamented entrances and cornices, with street-level cars and bare trees; useful for facade textures and period architectural line work.
