Thermodynamics of the steam-engine and other heat-engines
An 1898 engineering textbook by MIT professor Cecil Hobart Peabody, published by Wiley in New York for students and practicing steam-engine designers. The 37 figures are line diagrams on tinted paper: pressure-volume indicator curves with lettered points, dashed reference lines, and grids of labeled performance curves marked in degrees and numbers, useful as clean technical linework and chart vocabulary.
